City Hunter and Cat's Eye crossover in new animated film

A new animated film, City Hunter The Movie: Angel Dust, will bring together Ryo Saeba from City Hunter and the three thieves from Cat's Eye for the first time on the big screen. Directed by Kenji Kodama, the film celebrates the 35th anniversary of the anime version of the character. It will be screened in Italian theaters on February 19, 20, and 21, 2024. Produced by Sunrise in collaboration with The Answer Studio, the movie features cameo appearances by characters from Cat's Eye and Lupin III, as well as returning characters Miki and Umibozu. The film's distributor is Anime Factory. Creator Tsukasa Hojo describes the protagonist as a complex character with a deliberate duality: direct in humorous moments but reserved in serious scenes to stimulate readers' imagination.
