Circumnavigando Festival Brings Contemporary Juggling and Circus to Genoa

The International Circus Theatre Festival, known as Circumnavigando, will take place in Genoa from December 21 to 30, under the direction of Boris Vecchio. This year's theme emphasizes juggling as a form of storytelling. Notable performances include Gandini Juggling's 'Smashed' on December 29, Hisashi Watanabe's 'Inverted Free' on December 27, and Watanabe alongside Guillaume Martinet in 'L'esprit des haricots poilus' on December 30. Additional acts feature Monad's 'Yin Zero' (Dec 26), Lea Legrand's 'La chute' (Dec 21), Audrey Decaillon's 'X Season' (Dec 28), and De Paso's 'La trottola' (Dec 27). Italian contributions include Fabrizio Solinas' 'Little Garden' (Dec 30) and Teatro Necessario's 'La dinamica del controvento' (Dec 26-30), with various workshops aimed at improving quality of life across Genoa.
