festival-fair · 2026-04-26

CioccolaTò, the annual artisan chocolate festival in Turin, returns from February 27 to March 2, 2025, with a new format linking it to museums and cultural venues. The festival returns to Piazza Vittorio, where it began over 20 years ago. Highlights include a free exhibition of noble chocolate services at Palazzo Saluzzo Paesana, a chocolate house in Piazza Vittorio with talks and tastings, and a special tour of the royal kitchens at Palazzo Reale. Baratti & Milano celebrates 150 years with an artistic project by Helga Faletti, curated by the late Luca Beatrice, featuring artists like Nicola Bolla, Maurizio Vetrugno, and Marco Lodola. The Museo del Cioccolato under Pfatish pastry shop displays over 700 objects. The Polo Culturale delle Rosine hosts workshops for children and a treasure hunt. Cinema Massimo screens chocolate-themed films, including Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The Museo del Risorgimento hosts talks with Guido Gobino and Gianluca Franzoni. Gallerie d'Italia presents a photography exhibition on chocolate companies from the 1930s to 1960s. The Circolo dei Lettori holds literary events, including a discussion on Laura Esquivel's Like Water for Chocolate with Lidia Ravera.
