Cihan Tamti's Breakout #2 Poster Book by Slanted Publishers

Cihan Tamti's 'Breakout #2' is a poster book design published by Slanted, featuring 100 works from 2022 to 2025 across 128 hot-foil embossed spreads. The cover uses a terracotta-red field with silver hot-foil embossed blackletter, presenting 'Breakout' in overlapping knotted strokes. Inside, all posters are given equal page weight, with no hierarchy between personal work, client commissions, and community campaigns. Examples include a spread with 'I'M A SMALL BUSINESS' in condensed sans and 'SERIAL MEETING' in gothic block letters, and another with Arabic script opposite 'WILLY GRANDT PLATZ 57 BOCHUM' in red and black. The project began as a daily Instagram practice in 2022 without client briefs. Gotz Gramlich wrote the foreword. The book is thread-stitched at 16x24 cm, full-color offset, with the hot-foil cover as the only material gesture.
