Christopher Bedford Appointed Director of Baltimore Museum of Art
Christopher Bedford will assume leadership of the Baltimore Museum of Art on 15 August 2016, taking over from Doreen Bolger who retired the previous year after a 17-year tenure. Currently directing the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University, Bedford brings extensive curatorial experience from prominent institutions including the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Wexner Center for the Arts. The museum announced his appointment as its new director.
