Christoph Büchel, Olivier Mosset, Urs Stahel and Staufer/Hasler win 2015 Meret Oppenheim Prize

The 2015 Swiss Grand Award for Art, known as the Prix Meret Oppenheim, has been awarded to Christoph Büchel, Olivier Mosset, curator Urs Stahel, and the Staufer/Hasler architectural team. Each of them will receive CHF 40,000, which is about £28,000. The ceremony will take place on June 15, coinciding with Art Basel, just prior to the Swiss Art Awards 2015 exhibition showcasing the second round nominees. This award, created fifteen years ago to honor the surrealist artist Meret Oppenheim, recognizes outstanding achievements in art, art mediation, and architecture. The winners will also be included in a special publication.
