Christo and Jeanne-Claude Works on Sale at Paris Exhibition
A new exhibition titled 'Christo: Early Works & Unrealized Projects' opens at Cahiers d'Art in Paris from September 16 to October 5, 2021, coinciding with the posthumous installation 'L'Arc de Triomphe Wrapped.' The show features early works from the 1950s and 1960s, unrealized projects, and preparatory studies including drawings, collages, and scale models. All exhibited works are available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting both the Arc de Triomphe Wrapped project and the Christo and Jeanne-Claude Foundation. The exhibition is presented by Cahiers d'Art in collaboration with Christopher Taylor and Alessandro Possati | Progetti Zuecca, following Christo's long partnership with the art magazine. It runs parallel to a major retrospective at the Centre Pompidou titled 'Christo et Jeanne-Claude – Paris!'
