Christie’s Milan 20th/21st Century Online Sale: Top Lots by Salvo, Kounellis, Boetti

Christie’s Italia opens its 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale on November 23, 2023, closing December 5, 2023. The 101-lot catalogue features Italian and international artists with estimates ranging from €1,000 to €300,000. Top lots include Jannis Kounellis’ mixed-media composition (1985–1995, estimate €200–300,000), a Tancredi painting from the late 1950s, and two works by Salvo: a pastel snowy landscape (mid-1990s, €55–75,000) and La Valle (2006, €35,000). Enrico Castellani offers two Superficie works (1980 white, 1993 red, €60–150,000). Alighiero Boetti is represented by multiple pieces, including the never-before-auctioned tapestry Languidi sguardi assassini (1990) and a biro drawing Vedere i laterali (1981, €250–350,000) from Roberto Bisacco’s collection.
