Christie's Appoints Nour Kelani as Managing Director of Saudi Arabia

institutional · 2026-04-22

Christie's has appointed Nour Kelani as the Managing Director for Christie's Saudi Arabia, following the auction house's newly acquired commercial license in the Kingdom, making it the first global auction house to set up a dedicated operation there. This move marks Christie's second location in the region after launching in Dubai in 2005. Kelani will work with specialists to promote local culture and history while appealing to both new and experienced collectors. Before this, she led Ayyam Gallery in Jeddah and started the gallery's Young Collector's Auctions in Saudi Arabia. Kelani has also received the Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres from France. This expansion reflects Christie's ongoing involvement in Saudi Arabia, including recent exhibitions and collaborations.
