Christiana Collu named director of Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice

Christiana Collu has been appointed as the new director of Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice, a decision made unanimously by president Paolo Molesini and the board. With three decades of experience in museum management, Collu is a seasoned art historian, curator, and educator. She took charge of MAN in Nuoro at just 27 and has also worked at Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome and MART in Trento and Rovereto. Moreover, she served on the International Jury for the 58th Biennale di Venezia. As one of Italy's oldest cultural institutions, Fondazione Querini Stampalia houses nearly 400,000 modern books and manuscripts. Collu aims to transform the foundation into a "wonder booster," focusing on collaboration and exploration.
