Christian Viveros-Fauné Appointed Curator-at-Large at University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum

In early August 2018, Christian Viveros-Fauné took on the role of curator-at-large at the University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum. Alongside this position, he is also the Kennedy Family Visiting Scholar for 2018–19 at the USF School of Art and Art History. An established curator and art critic, Viveros-Fauné frequently writes for ArtReview and was awarded the Creative Capital/Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant in 2010. He was the first Critic-in-Residence at the Bronx Museum during the 2010/2011 term. His teaching experience includes Yale University and Pratt Institute, as well as guest critic roles at the Rhode Island School of Design and Rietveld Academie in the Netherlands. His book, Social Forms: A Short History of Political Art, is set to be published by David Zwirner Books in October 2018. This appointment was officially announced on 12 September 2018.
