Christian Louboutin Designs Sleeping Beauty-Inspired Ballet Shoes for Royal Opera House

Christian Louboutin has created a limited-edition capsule collection inspired by The Sleeping Beauty ballet, in collaboration with the Royal Opera House in London. The collection, available until January 16, 2020, includes two models: Miragirl (in Blush, Red, and Gold) with stiletto heels, rhinestones, and a chiffon bow, and Sleeping Rose, featuring a rose and thorn motif. Both shoes have PVC soles and are inspired by classical ballet forms. For each pair sold, Louboutin will donate a pair of ballet shoes to the Royal Opera House's Pointe Shoe Appeal. The collection is exclusively sold at Louboutin's Mount Street boutique in London. The ballet, composed by Tchaikovsky in the 1880s and choreographed by Marius Petipa, is being performed by the Royal Ballet as a Christmas production.
