Christian Caliandro's new book 'Italia Evolution. Crescere con la cultura' was published on May 10, 2018 by Meltemi Editore in the Linee series. Caliandro, a contemporary art historian and professor at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, contrasts the theatricality of political rituals at Piazza Colonna with the inaccessible experience of Borromini's Prospettiva at Palazzo Spada, arguing that modern perception is mediated by barriers and tourism.
