Christian Boaro: Fashion Designer Championing Gender Fluidity

Christian Boaro, an emerging Italian fashion designer born in Bassano del Grappa in 1981, opened his studio to Artribune. After graduating in Fashion Design from Istituto Marangoni in 2004, he was the only Italian finalist at the ITS international talent competition. His brand CHB gained visibility through celebrities like Måneskin, Chiara Ferragni, and Achille Lauro at Sanremo. Boaro's work emphasizes gender fluidity, inspired by the golden age of clubbing. He collaborates with stockists for sustainable materials and maintains a transversal wardrobe concept. Boaro also teaches at Istituto Marangoni and has participated in a photography exhibition at the Barbican in London. His creative process draws from images, memories, and market trends.
