Choi Studio's 15 Khartoum Road Sets Benchmark for Macquarie Park

Choi Studio has finalized the construction of 15 Khartoum Road, a commercial building within Stockland's MPark precinct in Macquarie Park, Sydney. This initiative, which was master planned by 3XN, is situated in one of Australia's largest innovation hubs focused on life sciences and technology. Positioned centrally within the precinct, the building is designed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings. Macquarie Park, located on Wallumattagal Country, serves as a significant employment center housing Macquarie University and numerous large companies, though it has traditionally featured car-centric business parks with minimal public areas. The project seeks to enhance urban activation. Project directors John Choi and Dijana Tasevska lead the design team, supported by various consultants, while public art contributions include works by Giovanni Veronesi, Hiromi Tango, Catherine Nelson, and Bernadette Hardy. The building's completion is anticipated in 2026.
