Chiswick House Launches 'Bring Into Being' Art Program

exhibition · 2026-04-27

On May 17, 2021, Chiswick House & Gardens in London is set to launch an exciting new art project called 'Bring Into Being,' curated by Mariam Zulfiqar. This historic Palladian villa, designed by Samuel Ware in 1813 and managed by the Chiswick House & Gardens Trust, aims to serve as a dynamic space for creativity. The project features three distinct installations: Mark Wallinger’s 'British Summer Time,' which incorporates visitors’ shadows into a human sundial and a waltz-playing music box; Jaimini Patel’s seasonal work using local organic materials; and Peter Adjaye’s cultural soundscape accessed through QR codes. The initiative includes workshops with artists like Yiran Duan and Lauren Dutton, running until October 31, 2021. Tickets for the opening weekend go on sale April 20.
