Chinese bus driver charged in Virginia crash that killed 5, including family of 4

Dong, a bus driver from China, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter following a tragic multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 95 in Virginia that resulted in the deaths of five individuals, including a family of four from Massachusetts. The incident took place at approximately 2:35 a.m. on Friday in Stafford County when a coach bus collided with a Chevrolet Suburban, which subsequently struck an Acura carrying the Doncev family. Dmitri and Ecaterina Doncev, along with their children, Emily and Mark, lost their lives while en route to a wedding in South Carolina. Additionally, 25-year-old Priscilla Mafalda from Worcester, Massachusetts, died in the SUV. While several others sustained injuries, one person remains in critical condition. The family wedding is still set for Sunday, but it will also be a time for mourning.
