China P&E 2026: Viltrox, Laowa, Meike Tease New Lenses
The China International Photography Machinery and Imaging Equipment Technology Expo, commonly referred to as China P&E, will commence in Beijing on May 15. Anticipation is building among lens manufacturers showcasing innovative products. Viltrox has teased a lineup of ten items, featuring eight lenses, a compact flash, and an undisclosed product. Notably included are a pancake lens and a tilt-shift lens equipped with dual control knobs. Meanwhile, Laowa is hinting at three new lenses, likely targeting wide-angle and macro markets. Additionally, Meike plans to introduce an autofocus lens for Fujifilm's GFX medium format, marking a significant development in third-party options.
