Children's Book Parodies Real Estate Ads for Artists' Homes

Ericavale Morello, an illustrator and author, has created a children's book titled "Vendesi casa d'artista" (Artist's House for Sale), published by Camelozampa. The book parodies real estate catalogs by presenting fictional listings for 25 homes of famous artists, including Jackson Pollock, Katsushika Hokusai, Sandro Botticelli, Marc Chagall, René Magritte, and Vincent van Gogh. Each listing features illustrations, domestic scenes, and texts rich in references to the artist's life and work. The reader must guess the artist from the description and illustration, with answers and biographical notes at the end. The project was realized in collaboration with graphic designer Massimo Pastore. The book offers an unusual and playful introduction to art, suitable for young readers and teachers seeking alternative educational paths.
