Chiesi launches international call for urban regeneration of historic industrial site
Chiesi, a pharmaceutical company from Parma with almost 90 years of history, has initiated a call for architectural proposals aimed at revitalizing its 1955 structure located on Via Palermo. Named "Restore to Impact," this international competition seeks innovative ideas for the site's redevelopment. It features two categories: one for Professionals (including architects and designers) with three winners each awarded €12,000, and another for Under 30 (students) with three winners receiving €5,000 each. Each category may also recognize up to five honorable mentions, which will earn €2,000 and €1,000, respectively. The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2023, with winners to be revealed by May 31, 2023, followed by public panels from June to November 2023.
