Vogue Hong Kong's October 2020 issue features Chiara Ferragni on its cover, photographed at the Uffizi Galleries in Florence by Slovak photographer Michal Pudelka. The shoot, which took place in July 2020, shows Ferragni wearing Prada AW20 against the backdrop of Botticelli's Venus. This follows a controversy last summer when Ferragni posted Instagram photos with Uffizi director Eike Schmidt in front of the same painting, sparking debate about using cultural heritage for commercial purposes. The cover story also includes images where Ferragni is framed like an artwork, with one shot showing her back to a Botticelli painting. The publication comes as Ferragni announces her second pregnancy and her company's stock market listing. Previously, artist Francesco Vezzoli depicted Ferragni as a 17th-century Madonna for Vanity Fair, drawing criticism from Codacons and religious groups.
