Chiara Camoni's 'Il Grande Baccano' Installation at Fabriano

exhibition · 2026-05-05

Chiara Camoni (born 1974, Piacenza) created an installation and video from a performance on April 27, 2016, in which nearly 800 children played instruments made from industrial waste materials. The project, titled Ecofantasy – I bambini e l'utilità del riciclo, was organized by Confindustria Ancona and Fondazione Ermanno Casoli. The installation was also shown at the Ipercorpo festival in Forlì from May 26 to 29, 2016, before returning to the Pinacoteca Civica Bruno Molajoli in Fabriano, where it is on view until June 12, 2016. Curated by Marcello Smarrelli, the work emphasizes collective creative action and children's joy in producing sound.
