Since 2009, Chema Méndez, a digital collage artist from Spain residing in the Canary Islands, has been producing mixed media works. His artistic approach combines classical public domain paintings with contemporary photography, 3D renders, AI elements, and his own sketches, resulting in intricate, surreal pieces. Influenced by the precision of M.C. Escher, the surrealism of René Magritte, the dreamlike quality of Miles Johnston, and the nostalgic textures of Eduardo Recife, his recent series include Singularity, which examines variations within a single piece through 1/1 originals and gifted fragments.
