Bertram M. Niessen has released a new book titled 'La cultura in trasformazione,' published by minimum fax. This collection includes essays from various contributors like Christian Raimo and Vincenzo Latronico. It doesn’t provide a history of the cheFare platform, which started in 2012 with a €100,000 grant for cultural innovation. Over four years, cheFare transformed from a cultural critique site called doppiozero into a nationwide network that connects independent cultural venues, mobile art projects, alternative funding, and tech startups working with museums. It has seen 1,800 projects and over 180,000 votes across three editions. The book discusses shifts in culture, touching on themes like audience involvement and the gig economy, with Niessen calling the chapters 'injectors' of fresh ideas.
