Che Guevara Exhibition Opens at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan

On the fiftieth anniversary of his death, a major exhibition titled 'Che Guevara. Tú y Todos' opens December 6 at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan. Curated by Daniele Zambelli, Flavio Andreini, Camilo Guevara, and Maria del Carmen Ariet Garcia, the show features over 2,000 documents from the Centro Studi Che Guevara in Havana, including letters, diaries, public and private photos, vintage videos, personal library, and journals. The exhibition spans over 1,000 square meters across three levels: the first contextualizes the 1950s-60s geopolitical landscape; the second focuses on Che's political figure with official speeches and iconic photos; the third delves into his private sphere with personal writings, letters to family and friends, and unpublished recordings of poems dedicated to his wife Aleida. A multimedia component includes an original soundtrack by Andrea Guerra, winner of the 2017 Soundtrack Stars Award at the 74th Venice Film Festival, and a perceptual art installation by Michael Murphy titled 'Il Volto di Che Guevara'. This is the first in a series of exhibitions developed by Simmetrico Cultura, a network founded by Daniele Zambelli in 2007 specializing in multimedia events.
