Charity Auction for Stroke Research at Artcurial

On March 9, 2022, Artcurial in Paris will host a charity auction to benefit the Vaincre l'AVC endowment fund, founded by Sophie and Pierre Amarenco. The auction, led by auctioneer Arnaud Oliveux, will feature around thirty lots donated by artists including Gilles Barbier, Erró, Zhang Xiaogang, Stéphane Pencréac'h, Youcef Korichi, and Lionel Scoccimaro. Proceeds will fund a public information campaign about stroke, which affects 150,000 people annually in France and causes 40,000 deaths. Neurologist Pierre Amarenco will speak before the sale. Notable works include Barbier's 'les Graphes euréliens + les Dessins de sable' (2011), Erró's untitled lithograph (2005), Pencréac'h's 'Elon Musk' (2021), and Scoccimaro's 'Mantrasbtraction' (2021).
