Chapeaux! Hommage à Robert Filliou at La vitrine am
Curated by Raphael Cuir, 'Chapeaux!' pays tribute to Robert Filliou's 1962 Galerie Légitime, a mobile exhibition inside a bowler hat. Ten artists including Ben, Yoko Ono, ORLAN, and Pierre Tillman created works inside or around a bowler hat, referencing Filliou's principles of play, equivalence, and nomadism. The project is supported by Greubel Forsey, a luxury watchmaker, and hosted by La vitrine am in Paris until November 21, 2014. Jakob+MacFarlane designed the modular scenography. A catalogue is published by Silvana Editoriale.
