Chanel Culture Fund, Max Mara Prize, Serpentine Pavilion, and More in Weekly Roundup
The Chanel Culture Fund has announced its 2026 Next Prize winners, awarding €100,000 to ten artists, including Álvaro Urbano and Ayoung Kim. These recipients will also participate in a two-year mentorship at the Royal College of Art. Cecilia Alemani, director of High Line Art in New York, has been appointed curator for the forthcoming 10th Max Mara Art Prize for Women (2025-27), with Jakarta's Museum MACAN as the new venue after the Whitechapel Gallery. Additionally, the 25th Serpentine Pavilion, designed by Isabel Abascal and Alessandro Arienzo of LANZA Atelier, will welcome visitors from June 6 to October 25, 2026.
