Cesare Pietroiusti curates 'Nessuno escluso' in Verona with over 50 works

exhibition · 2026-04-26

From September 12, 2025, Verona hosts 'Nessuno escluso. Linguaggi dell’opera e accesso al sensibile', a free exhibition curated by artist Cesare Pietroiusti, featuring over 50 works from public and private collections, including Fondazione Cariverona and UniCredit. The show runs until August 30, 2026, and marks the launch of Interregno, a cultural program curated by Fondazione Cariverona with Urbs Picta, in collaboration with the Museo del Contemporaneo dell’Università di Verona, under the artistic direction of Jessica Bianchera. The program includes three major exhibitions and public activities like workshops, guided tours, and meetings. Pietroiusti, trained in medicine and psychiatry, selected works spanning from Umberto Boccioni and Giorgio Morandi to Alberto Viani, Arcangelo Sassolino, Claudia Losi, Kateřina Šedá, and Marcello Maloberti, alongside pieces from his personal collection. The exhibition explores accessibility to aesthetic experience, proposing art as an open device for relation and imagination. Notable works include three depictions of Saint John the Baptist from the 14th to 16th centuries, and a juxtaposition of a photograph by Luigi Ghirri with Renato Guttuso's 'stufa'.
