Cesare Pietroiusti and Ginestra Bianconi in Dialogue on Art and Mathematics

The Artribune podcast 'Contemporaneamente' features a dialogue between artist Cesare Pietroiusti and mathematician Ginestra Bianconi, exploring intersections of art, mathematics, and network theory. Pietroiusti, a Rome-based artist and former medical doctor, co-founded the Jartrakor Study Center and the Psychology of Art magazine in 1977. She develops complex network theory, authored 'Multilayer Networks' (Oxford University Press, 2018) and 'Higher-order networks' (Cambridge University Press, 2021), and received the 2020 Network Science Fellowship for contributions including Bose-Einstein condensation in complex networks.
