Cerebras Systems files for IPO following $23 billion valuation and major AI partnerships

ai-technology · 2026-04-19

Cerebras Systems has announced its intention to go public, aiming for an offering in mid-May, as stated by a company representative. The AI chip company had previously attempted an IPO in 2024 but withdrew it due to a federal review that postponed an investment from G42, based in Abu Dhabi. CEO Andrew Feldman claims their hardware is "the fastest AI hardware for training and inference." Recently, Cerebras secured a partnership with Amazon Web Services to deploy its chips in Amazon's data centers, along with a reported deal with OpenAI worth over $10 billion. Feldman remarked to the Wall Street Journal that Nvidia was keen to retain its fast inference business at OpenAI, which they successfully acquired. For 2025, Cerebras reported revenues of $510 million and a net income of $237.8 million, though it experienced a non-GAAP net loss of $75.7 million after excluding specific one-time items. Last year, the company raised $1.1 billion in a Series G round, followed by a $1 billion Series H in February, achieving a valuation of $23 billion. The amount targeted for the IPO remains undisclosed.
