Ceramics of Italy International Tile Competition 2026 Opens for Entries
The 2026 Ceramics of Italy International Tile Competition has been introduced by Confindustria Ceramica in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, marking its first global iteration by combining the North American Design Competition with the La Ceramica e il Progetto program. International architects and designers can submit projects featuring Italian ceramic or porcelain tiles from licensed Ceramics of Italy brands. Categories include Residential, Commercial, Design and New Applications, and Outdoor. Projects must be renovations, restorations, or new builds completed between January 2021 and March 2026. The grand jury, led by Steve Clem of TVS, includes Alfonso Femia, Donatella Bollani, and Filippo Manuzzi. Winners will receive cash prizes and a CEU-accredited trip to Cersaie 2026 in Bologna, Italy, from September 21 to 25. Submissions are free, with a deadline of June 5, 2026, and winners will be announced in July during a VIP awards ceremony at Cersaie.
