Ceramic Brussels Returns for Second Edition as World's First All-Ceramic Art Fair

festival-fair · 2026-04-26

The upcoming second edition of Ceramic Brussels, the inaugural fair focused on ceramic art, is scheduled for January 23 to 26, 2025, at Tour & Taxis in Brussels, preceded by a press preview on January 22. This event aligns with the 70th Brafa Art Fair and will feature 65 galleries from 15 different nations, presenting the works of over 200 artists. The previous edition in 2024 drew nearly 13,000 attendees. Organizers Gilles Parmentier and Jean-Marc Dimanche have observed a resurgence of interest in ceramics. Notably, the 2025 fair will emphasize 20th-century ceramic masters and contemporary pieces, including a solo exhibition by Elizabeth Jaeger. Norway will be the guest country, represented by five galleries. Additionally, the Ceramic Brussels Art Prize will grant a solo exhibition at the 2026 edition to one of ten chosen artists.
