Ceramic artist and theorist Nino Caruso dies at 88
Nino Caruso, a leading figure in ceramic art and theory, died Thursday, January 19, in Rome at age 88. Known globally for advancing ceramic studies, he conducted workshops in the US and Japan and authored the seminal manual "Ceramica Viva" (Hoepli, 1979).
