Centro Pecci Reopens in Prato with Region-Wide Programming
On October 16, 2016, the Centro Pecci in Prato will reopen following renovations led by Italo Gamberini and Maurice Nio. A month-long event titled "La fine del mondo. Prologo," curated by Stefano Pezzato, is set to commence on September 16 in Prato, Florence, Pisa, and Vinci, with Anish Kapoor featured at the Museo di Scienze Planetarie. From October 13 to November 6, "La Torre di Babele," curated by Pietro Gaglianò, will present over twenty galleries at the ex-fabbrica Lucchesi. Additionally, ICASTIC for Pecci will take place from October 11 to January 13, 2017, at the Camera di Commercio, showcasing works by Moataz Nasr, André Komatsu, and Jaume Plensa. The winner of the Parco Centrale di Prato competition will be revealed on October 1, with finalist projects on display from October 8 to 23.
