Centro Cultural Val d'Oust by Atelier 56S: A New Public Hub in Brittany

The Centro Cultural Val d'Oust, designed by Atelier 56S, is a 575 m² public facility located at the intersection of the church square, Rue Jules Ferry, and a public landscaped garden in Val d'Oust, France. The project, slated for completion in 2026, is part of a broader municipal strategy to enhance public spaces and strengthen pedestrian connections. Principal architects Fanny Landeau and José Prieto lead the design team, with Lou Durand on design and Franck Lebreton on technical aspects. Engineering and consultancy are provided by CAIRN Ingénierie (services), FAAR Paysage (landscape architecture), and Acoustibel (acoustics). The client is the Commune du Val-d'Oust, with Morbihan Habitat as the delegated project owner. The project was curated by Nina Vuga and photographed by Charly Broyez.
