Centre Pompidou-Metz Announces 2026 Exhibition Program

exhibition · 2026-05-01

The Centre Pompidou-Metz has unveiled its 2026 program, featuring two major exhibitions. In January, 'Louise Nevelson: Mrs. N’s Palace' opens, marking the first comprehensive exhibition of the artist in France. It highlights her monumental assemblages that blend spirituality, geometry, and magic, reshaping sculpture and laying groundwork for installation art. The exhibition is designed as an immersive scenographic experience. In April, 'François Morellet: 100 per cent' presents one hundred works spanning over seventy years, from early figurative paintings to light experiments. The show explores the tension between mathematical order and optical disruption, focusing on geometry and self-reflection on art. It is part of the centenary program '100 x Morellet'.
