Centre des arts d'Enghien-les-Bains: Digital Writings

Since 2002, the Centre des arts (cda) in Enghien-les-Bains has fostered a diverse program of digital arts, including exhibitions, the Bains Numériques festival, and year-round events. The cda supports artist residencies and collaborations that merge image, body, and sound. In 2012, Arnaud Rebotini, Christian Zanési, and Zita Cochet created Frontières, a live concert mixing sound and images from webcams. Simon Geilfus (AntiVJ) collaborated with Murcof on audiovisual performances in 2009 and 2012. In 2009, AntiVJ created Le Bestiaire for Plaza Vieja in Havana, Cuba, with artists Romain Tardy and Thomas Vaquié. Miguel Chevalier presented Pixels Liquides (2008) on the facade of Église Saint-Joseph. Boedi Widjaja and David Letellier (In Situ) produced Palimpsest, a sound and visual piece. Thierry de Mey had a solo exhibition at cda in 2012, exploring movement through music, video, dance, and digital art. Michel Jaffrennou presented Algo and Ritmo, a digital cabaret. Adrien Mondot and Claire Bardainne performed Un point c'est tout (2012), a conference-show about the dot.
