Celine Launches Jean Arp Jewelry Collection in Bijoux d'Artistes Series
Celine has unveiled a limited edition collection of 100 jewelry items, drawing inspiration from Jean Arp's 1958 sculpture Ptolemy II. This initiative, part of the Bijoux d'Artistes project, was curated by Artistic Director Hedi Slimane in partnership with the Fondation Arp. The jewelry, crafted through multiple castings, is offered in both vermeil and 925 sterling silver, featuring adjustable clasps. Each item is individually numbered (1-50 for each material) and bears engravings of Arp's name alongside the Celine logo. The pieces are packaged in pinewood boxes reminiscent of art transport crates. Previous collaborations include the César Compression Project in 2020 and the Louise Nevelson Project in 2022, highlighting Celine's commitment to celebrating avant-garde artistry.
