Cédric Kahn's film 'Making Of' will be released in Italian theaters on September 26, 2024, distributed by I Wonder Pictures. The comedy-drama offers a behind-the-scenes look at film production, following a socially conscious director named Simon whose new film about workers fighting factory relocation descends into chaos. The narrative is documented by Joseph, an extra and aspiring director tasked with filming the making-of. Kahn describes the film as an assembly of three projects: a film about striking workers, one about a burnt-out director, and a making-of focusing on overlooked crew members. The film explores contradictions between noble causes and social inequalities within the cinema world. Kahn previously directed 'Fête de Famille' (2019) with Catherine Deneuve and Emmanuelle Bercot, and 'Il caso Goldman' (2023) which opened the Quinzaine des Cinéastes.
