Cecilia Fiona's First UK Institutional Solo Show at Towner Eastbourne

Spirals Gathering, Time Breathing marks the inaugural institutional solo exhibition in the UK by Danish artist Cecilia Fiona, hosted by Towner Eastbourne. Based in Copenhagen, Fiona's artistic endeavors encompass painting, costume design, performance, and sculpture. Her work delves into the intricate connections among the body, the earth, and the cosmos, ranging from the minute scale of atoms and cells to the expansive universe. She envisions energy's movement and flow throughout all existence, portraying the cosmos as a singular, living entity. The exhibition showcases new paintings, sculptural installations, and a sound piece created in collaboration with Lucie Cure, featuring ethereal imagery where bodies and beings transform into ribbons, roots, and tendrils.
