Cecilia Alemani to Curate 12th SITE SANTA FE International

exhibition · 2026-04-24

SITE SANTA FE is excited to announce that its biennial exhibition, the SITE SANTA FE International, will return for the first time since 2018. The 12th edition will be curated by Cecilia Alemani and is set to launch in the summer of 2025, running into early 2026. Alemani, who has been the Director & Chief Curator of High Line Art in New York since 2011, previously curated the 2022 Venice Biennale, called The Milk of Dreams. She highlighted the exhibition's importance in reshaping views on globalization and local settings, referencing New Mexico author Lucy R. Lippard. Since 1995, the International has featured prominent curators like Francesco Bonami and Robert Storr, with Alemani being the fourth to curate both this event and the Venice Biennale.
