Catherine Castillon appointed new CEO of art publisher Skira

Catherine Castillon, a manager of Franco-Italian descent in her early thirties, has taken on the role of CEO at Skira, following Massimo Vitta Zelman, who continues as chairman. Prior to this, Castillon served as a Senior Advisor at Museum Studio and holds a majority stake in Skira. She graduated from HEC Paris and accumulated a decade of experience in strategic marketing with L'Oréal, Procter & Gamble, and LVMH. In 2012, she co-founded Etoile Rouge Italie and later established theC.Studio in 2021. Founded in 1928 by Alberto Schira, Skira gained fame through partnerships with artists like Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse.
