other · 2026-04-26

The iconic 1980s manga and anime Cat's Eyes, created by Tsukasa Hōjō, is being adapted into a live-action French television series titled Cat's Eyes. The series will air on TF1 in France and on Rai 2 in Italy starting September 17, 2024, at 21:20, with all episodes available simultaneously on RaiPlay. Directed by Alexandre Laurent, the eight-episode series (each under an hour) stars Constance Labbé, Camille Lou, and Claire Romain as the three sisters—Alexia, Tam, and Sylia in the French version—who steal art to recover their father's collection stolen by Nazis. The story is set in 2023 Paris, where the sisters reunite after years apart when a painting belonging to their father, who died ten years earlier in a mysterious fire at his gallery, reappears at an exhibition at the Eiffel Tower. They decide to steal it to uncover the truth about his disappearance. They are pursued by Captain Quentin Chapuis (played by rapper MB14) of the BRB, who is unaware that Tam is his childhood love. The series is produced by TF1 and will be distributed internationally.
