Castlefield Gallery's 'Out Here' explores human-nature connections

Castlefield Gallery presents 'Out Here', a group exhibition featuring artists who investigate the relationship between humans and nature through drawing, film, painting, performance, photography, prints, sculpture, and site-specific works. The show includes internationally renowned artist Shezad Dawood, returning to the gallery with his long-standing relationship, alongside artists from the North of England. Dawood's contribution includes 'Episode 7: Africana, Ken Bugul & Nemo' (2022), part of his expansive series. The exhibition aims to foster dialogue by placing artists at different career stages side by side. Practices are grounded in research on human-nonhuman interaction, often involving direct engagement with natural materials and outdoor environments.
