Castiel Vitorino Brasileiro's Multidisciplinary Work Explores African Languages in Brazilian Culture

Castiel Vitorino Brasileiro's artistic practice spans multiple formats and contexts, engaging with themes of African linguistic heritage within Brazilian culture. Their work was featured in the 35th São Paulo Biennial, where they presented poetic compositions addressing insurgent temporalities. In 2021, Brasileiro received the PIPA Prize, an award recognizing artistic achievement that bridges ancestral traditions with contemporary technological approaches.
