Cassina Projects Opens New Milan Space in Former Caproni Aircraft Factory

exhibition · 2026-05-04

Cassina Projects, the gallery founded by Irene and Marco Cassina, is opening a new location in Milan at Via Mecenate 76/45, inside the historic Caproni aircraft factory dating back to 1920. The 1,250-square-meter space spans two floors with exhibition areas, viewing rooms, and offices. The gallery continues its experimental curatorial approach, hosting lectures, talks, film screenings, and performances alongside commercial activities. The inaugural shows are a double solo exhibition: Gerold Miller's "The Monoform Show" in Gallery 1 on the ground floor, featuring his linear, colorful installations exploring Minimalism and Conceptualism since 2014, and Marcel Eichner's "Paintings and Drawings 2009-2019" in Gallery 2 on the first floor, presenting his surreal, gestural works executed between Berlin and Barcelona. The opening is on September 12, 2019, from 7 to 9 PM, running through December 23, 2019.
