Casio CRW-H001 Smart Ring Watch Adds Health Tracking and Notifications

Casio has launched its inaugural smart ring, the CRW-H001, marking its entry into the wearable health monitoring sector. This device, currently available only in China, merges biometric sensing capabilities with digital timekeeping in a sleek, full-metal design. It tracks daily steps, calories burned, and various activities like walking, running, and cycling, while also keeping tabs on heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, body temperature, sleep patterns, and recovery post-exercise. Utilizing metal injection molding (MIM), the ring achieves the intricate shapes of Casio's watch cases in a compact form, featuring a one-piece metal body with a vapor-deposited mirror finish. It incorporates tiny electronic components for a digital display and sensors, along with a low-power vibration motor for subtle alerts regarding calls, messages, alarms, and health updates. The CRW-H001 pairs with Casio's companion app, compatible with iOS, Android, and select HarmonyOS devices, though some notification features may not work on newer HarmonyOS versions. Available in sizes 9, 10, and 11, it is exclusively sold in China, accompanied by limited after-sales support.
