Case Chiuse Finds Permanent Studio in Milan's Porta Venezia

exhibition · 2026-04-27

After six years of curating mobile exhibitions in private residences and former commercial venues, curator Paola Clerico has launched Case Chiuse HQ, a permanent studio located at Via Rosolino Pilo 14 in Milan's Porta Venezia area. The initiative started in February 2014 with a showcase at Clerico's home featuring Nick Devereux. Various subsequent exhibitions were held at locations such as Garage Soccol, ex-casa Cipelletti, and Casa Bonacossa, among others. The opening exhibition, titled "libera," includes works from long-time collaborators like Tarek Abbar and Gabriele De Santis. Clerico clarifies that this space serves as a studio and agency rather than a traditional gallery. The studio welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Friday, 11–19, or by appointment, with the exhibition running until April 18, 2020. Ginevra D'Oria will focus on connecting with emerging artists.
