Casasanvito artist residency in Marche opens call for 2026

Casasanvito, an artist residency in a 18th-century historic home in Monte San Vito, Ancona, Italy, has launched a new open call for its next session running from August 29 to September 13, 2026. The residency, founded by Riccardo Fornezza after a decade in London, is operationally led by Stefano Soso and Andrea Dal Martello, with curation by Marta Cereda. It hosts up to two artists per month across all disciplines—painting, sculpture, installation, performance, writing, theoretical research, and hybrid practices—and culminates annually in two group exhibitions. The program emphasizes long-term engagement, dialogue with the local context, and collaboration with regional and national institutions. The open call closes January 31, 2026. The residency provides a studio, common areas, and two private bedrooms with bathrooms within the frescoed building. Casasanvito aims to strengthen the Marche region's image as an active cultural production hub beyond major urban centers.
